## Our Pledge |
4 |
5 |
In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as |
6 |
contributors and maintainers pledge to making participation in our |
7 |
project and our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, |
8 |
regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and |
9 |
expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, |
10 |
religion, or sexual identity and orientation. |
11 |
12 |
## Our Standards |
13 |
14 |
Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment |
15 |
include: |
16 |
17 |
- Using welcoming and inclusive language |
18 |
- Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences |
19 |
- Gracefully accepting constructive criticism |
20 |
- Focusing on what is best for the community |
21 |
- Showing empathy towards other community members |
22 |
23 |
Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include: |
24 |
25 |
- The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual |
26 |
attention or advances |
27 |
- Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political |
28 |
attacks |
29 |
- Public or private harassment |
30 |
- Publishing others’ private information, such as a physical or |
31 |
electronic address, without explicit permission |
32 |
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a |
33 |
professional setting |
34 |
35 |
## Our Responsibilities |
36 |
37 |
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of |
38 |
acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair |
39 |
corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior. |
40 |
41 |
Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, |
42 |
or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other |
43 |
contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban |
44 |
temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they |
45 |
deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful. |
46 |
47 |
## Scope |
48 |
49 |
This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public |
50 |
spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community. |
51 |
Examples of representing a project or community include using an |
52 |
official project e-mail address, posting via an official social media |
53 |
account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or |
54 |
offline event. Representation of a project may be further defined and |
55 |
clarified by project maintainers. |
56 |
57 |
## Enforcement |
58 |
59 |
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may |
60 |
be reported by opening an issue. The project team |
61 |
will review and investigate all complaints, and will respond in a way |
62 |
that it deems appropriate to the circumstances. The project team is |
63 |
obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an |
64 |
incident. Further details of specific enforcement policies may be posted |
65 |
separately. |
66 |
67 |
Project maintainers who do not follow or enforce the Code of Conduct in |
68 |
good faith may face temporary or permanent repercussions as determined |
69 |
by other members of the project’s leadership. |
70 |
71 |
