Patients requiring therapeutic anticoagulation with drugs requiring INR monitoring or anti-platelet therapy, except for acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) ? 325 mg per day, are not eligible
Therapeutic anticoagulation (except low-dose heparin and/or heparin flush as needed for maintenance of an in-dwelling intravenous devise) or anti-platelet therapy (except for low-dose therapy with acetylsalicylic acid < 325 mg per day)
No therapeutic anticoagulation (except low-dose heparin and/or heparin flush as needed for maintenance of an in-dwelling intravenous device) or anti-platelet therapy (except for low-dose therapy with acetylsalicylic acid < 325 mg per day); no history of clinically significant hemorrhagic or thromboembolic event in the past 6 months

Concomitant treatment with any of the following drugs: azathioprine, cyclophosphamide, cyclosporine, pirfenidone, full dose anticoagulation (vitamin K antagonists, dabigatran, heparin), fibrinolysis and high dose anti-platelet therapy (ex. Plavix 150 mg); prophylactic low dose heparin, heparin flush for maintenance of intravenous devices, prophylactic use of anti-platelet therapy (e.g. acetyl salicylic acid up to 325 mg/d, clopidogrel 75 mg/d, or equivalent doses) should be allowed
