Uncontrolled or significant cardiovascular disease, including any of the following:\r\n* Symptomatic congestive heart failure (>= New York Heart Association Classification class II)\r\n* Cerebral vascular accident/stroke (< months prior to enrollment), myocardial infarction (< months prior to enrollment), or unstable angina\r\n* Uncontrolled hypertension or uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmia
PHASE II EXCLUSION CRITERIA: Uncontrolled or significant cardiovascular disease, including any of the following:\r\n* Symptomatic congestive heart failure (>= New York Heart Association Classification class II)\r\n* Cerebral vascular accident/stroke (< months prior to enrollment), myocardial infarction (< months prior to enrollment), or unstable angina\r\n* Uncontrolled hypertension or uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmia
Within months prior to study drug administration, clinically significant cardiovascular/cerebrovascular disease defined as follows: cerebral vascular accident/stroke, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, congestive heart failure (New York Heart Association classification class >= II), bleeding or pulmonary embolism or cardiac arrhythmias that was severe enough to cause hemodynamic compromise
Clinically significant (i.e., active) cardiovascular disease: cerebral vascular accident/stroke < months prior to enrollment, myocardial infarction < months prior to enrollment, unstable angina, congestive heart failure (>= New York Heart Association [NYHA] III) or serious cardiac arrhythmia requiring medication
Clinically significant cardiovascular/cerebrovascular disease as follows: cerebral vascular accident/stroke (< months prior to enrollment), myocardial infarction (< months prior to enrollment), unstable angina, congestive heart failure (New York Heart Association classification class > II), or serious cardiac arrhythmia.
