Title of Dataset: Radiation therapy induces innate immune responses in patients treated for prostate cancers

Following radiation therapy, proteomic and metabolomic profiles reveal a robust immune activation that correlate with prostate cancer remission

Description of the Data and file structure

Protein quantities were recorded as relative fluorescent units (RFU), which can be converted to concentrations with standard curves. The samples were batch processed using the SOMAscan Version 3 assays according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This assay is commercially available and has been used to investigate other disease systems including lung cancer.

Mass spectrometry was performed on a performed on a Q-TOF instrument (Xevo G2 QTOF, Waters Corp, USA) operating in either negative (ESI-) or positive (ESI+) electrospray ionization mode with a capillary voltage of 3200 V in positive mode and 2800 V in negative mode, and a sampling cone voltage of 30 V in both positive and negative modes.

  • somalogicfulldata.xlsx contains the proteomics data
  • Normalized_NEG_MODE_AKC.xlsx contains the metabolomics negative mode data
  • Normalized_POS_MODE_AKC.xlsx contains the metabolomics positive mode data

Sample collection times are defined using colors from top left to right:

  • Green represenets for the sample collected pre-treatment.
  • Yellow represents for the sample collected 24 hours post treatment.
  • Blue represents for the sample collected 1 month post treatment.
  • Pink represents for the sample collected 3 months post treatment.
  • Brown represents for the sample collected 6 months post treatment.
  • Orange represents for the sample collected after 6 months post treatment.
