Results of outcrop fracture network mapping at Getaberget, Åland Islands, Finland from drone orthomosaics which can be found here:
https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4719627
The field work and subsequent analysis was done as a part of a Geological Survey of
Finland -project, KYT KARIKKO, with funding from Finnish National Nuclear Waste
Management Fund (KYT). Field work was done during the summer of 2020.
Contains georeferenced, manually digitized, fracture traces along with delineated target areas for them. Both are in GeoPackage databases. These can be opened with modern GIS-software, e.g. QGIS or analyzed in Python with e.g. geopandas or fracture network analysis toolkit fractopo.
See https://www.kaggle.com/nasurz/fracture-trace-visualization for a visualization of the traces.
Digitizing was done by two operators from Geological Survey of Finland, Nikolas Ovaskainen (Researcher) and Ismo Aaltonen (Senior Specialist).
